Steps for Tally Prime:

Step 1: Gateway of Tally > Configure (F12) > Advance Configuration
Step 2:Change (or ensure) to set Tally.ERP 9 is acting as to Both and Port is 9000
Step 3:Restart Tally when prompted

Steps for Tally.ERP 9

Help (F1) > Settings > Connectivity
Step 2: Select Client/Server configuration
Step 3:Change (or ensure) TallyPrime is acting as to Both and Port is 9000
Step 4:Download the connector Utility

Step 5:Double click it to run
Note:

  1. tally should be open and running on the same system as you browser

  2. Connector utility should also be running in the background
